Doubtful Works of Shakespeare

Shakespeare's Doubtful WorksIn addition to the well known canon of plays which Shakespeare is known to have written there are a number of other plays which may also have been written in whole or in part by the Bard. The authorship of these plays is controversial and it is not at all certain that Shakespeare wrote any of them. However some critics have argued that Shakespeare was the author or at least collaborated with the main author. We have therefore included these doubtful plays so that you can judge for yourself.

For that matter some critics believe that Shakespeare did not write any of "his" plays and that they were all written by Sir Francis Bacon. See the Bacon Controversy for more details.
